We recently celebrated our daughter’s birthday here, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed.

The food and drinks were excellent, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and all of our guests had a fantastic time. The team went above and beyond to help make the day special, and we truly appreciated their kindness and professionalism ( especially Bianca, who made sure we were comfortable there).

A huge thank you to everyone for helping us create such lovely memories. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great place to celebrate a special occasion. We look forward to coming back!

Bartender at another pub recommended Walter's as we were looking for Guinness 0.0 on tap. Walter's was a great find, large selection of beers on tap including Guinness 0.0, (the Guinness finder site didn't show any places in Dun Laoghaire as having Guinness 0.0 on tap) large bar area with at least 3 sets of taps, and lots of seating areas. Menu offered more than the usual pub fare. Service was excellent. We were there mid afternoon and it was quiet, looks like they have music in the evenings which may be busier and noisier.

We booked Walter’s for my brother’s 18th birthday and despite a hiccup on the music front, we had a great time!

The staff were so warm and accommodating with us. They helped us make the cozy family celebration even cozier!

If we didn’t live so far, we’d return often. Thank you again to all the staff members that interacted with us!

(We brought our own cake! The staff were kind enough to store it for us, and helped us sing happy birthday!)
